Meanwhile, I got the missing Cap for my other MLA2500 today and will start on it tomorrow evening.. new caps. diodes, equalizing resistors, bias cap and zener.

After that, I will revisit my old Hallicrafters HT-41 amp project. As you know I managed to find two new sets of finals for it (4 TUBES ). It uses a pair of 7094's. Manual is attached to this email and some photos. I did restore it electrically and cosmetically last year. However, I never got around to firing it up with the new tubes! This amp matches my Hallicrafters HT-37 xmtr and SX-111 mk1 rcvr. I restored those about a year and half ago (photos attached). They were both purchase from k2krm before he moved. Needed a lot of TLC!

Ham radio is GREAT fun old or new!

Before this modifacation to my Tram magnet mount I had a real hassel getting my High Sierra Sidekick off the roof so I could pull my car into the garage. Now it's just push and twist and it's off. I have to thank this guy  Rob http://www.greensteinlaw.com/AA6A/HFMobile/index.html  his installation of his sidekick gave me the inspiration.  N1MUQ
